About Me
Hi, I'm Michael Velez, CPA.
I started Velez CPA Services to give small business owners, real estate investors, and nonprofit organizations something they rarely get from an accountant: a real advisor who's thinking about their finances all year, not just at tax time.
My work goes beyond preparing returns and closing the books. I help business owners, investors, and nonprofit leaders understand their financials, strengthen their processes, and make smarter decisions throughout the year.
Along the way I learned that good planning saves money, and that clean, accurate books are the foundation for every good decision.
My goal is simple: to be the person who takes the stress of tax and accounting off your hands so you can focus on your business or your mission. And because I'm bilingual, I'm happy to do that in English or Spanish.
Beyond the numbers
Family comes first. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and now call Pennsylvania home with my wife and our fur babies. When I'm not on a golf course or a pickleball court, or glued to a baseball or basketball game, you'll find me planning our next trip.
Exploring new places and cultures has taught me that everyone has a different story and a different way of doing things, which is something I bring to every client relationship.
